FAQs about Applause! Applause! Tributes:

Q: What makes Applause! Applause! different from other tribute services?
A: It’s our consultative process that makes the difference. We find in working with our clients, we are able to ask the right questions and provide suggestions for capturing the essence of a person, pet or moment. Often during the loss of a loved one, clients are bereaved and unable to think objectively. We provide an objective viewpoint and offer creative solutions for creating a photo tribute.

Q: Why can’t I simply make my own tribute?
A: If you’re grieving the loss of a loved one or pet, chances are you’re in no frame of mind to go through the laborious process of creating a photo tribute. Even if yours is a Celebration Tribute, it is unlikely that you have the necessary equipment. We use state-of-the-art computers, and the industry standard photo editing software. So the answer is, “Yes, you can try to make your own tribute, but it won’t be an Applause! Applause! Tribute."

Q: What method of payment is available?

A: We accept MasterCard, Visa and Discover. Personal checks are not accepted.

Q: What are your payment terms?
A: We require a 50% deposit with your order. The balance is due prior to shipment.

Q: How long does it take to create a tribute?
A: Our standard turnaround, once we receive your photos, is four weeks. Exceptions can be made on a case-by-case basis; please call to inquire. Rush orders can sometimes be accommodated depending on our backlog, and at an extra cost.

Q: How many photos can be included in a tribute?
A: Our prices include up to four images per tribute. You may have additional images in your tribute for $50.00 per additional image.

Q: Am I required to visit you in person?
A: Although we do like to see our clients in person whenever possible, we often speak with our clients over the phone.

Q: How will I see my proof?
A: We will send you a link via email to view your proof.

Q: Can I select a background photo for my tribute?
A: We may be able to use one of your photos for the background of your tribute. Or, we can select a background photo to best fit the theme of your tribute.

Q: What if a photo I want to use for my tribute is not in focus, or is too dark or too light?
A: Obviously, this will compromise the quality of the final product; however, we will do all the necessary color and exposure corrections to make your images look as good as possible. We also do our best to sharpen out-of-focus images. Photos that are too blurry cannot be used.

Q: Can I use any size pictures for my tribute?
A: We can use almost any size. From the tiniest grade school class picture to a two-foot wide aerial photo of the family farm hanging on the kitchen wall, we have used pictures of all sizes to create beautiful tributes.
